Jessica Shasha is a classically trained fine artist, who graduated simultaneously from the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Art and the University of Pennsylvania with degrees in Fine Art and Art History.
Her paintings are rooted in classical representation, however her work deviated from pure realism to create a fanciful and surreal visual narrative informed not only by her experiences, but also by the mutation of memory. Shasha focuses on the changing nature of light as it plays across a subject.
